Ray are a smaller company but have vast experience in the Formula Ford market, their chassis designs have been very competitive in recent years.
Both cars are fitted with Hewland LD200 racing gearboxes with a variable ratio capability. Engine Tuning for the Zetec is provided by Field Motorsport and the FF1600 is powered by a Glen Searle prepared engine. Adjustable suspension set up and Pi data logging measuring many parameters gives the driver adequate scope for fine tuning the handling to suit driving styles, circuit configuration and weather conditions.
